Parenthood, Stay at Home Mom, New Blessings & New Chapters
Good afternoon!
Happy 2 weeks to my momhood and to my sweet little Ellie Abaigeal Perez. Hard to believe 2 weeks ago I had went through labor process and got to see my tiny little baby, 8 pounds 1 ounce, 21.5 inches, (small ;) ) and got to hold her with her lovely self right after coming out, I felt no pain, I just saw my little baby, my husband, and a new adventure about to begin.
My husband and I had the quite the experience for labor and he actually did not hold my hand during labor,he held my left leg back lol, he was technically a doctor lol! But feel free to ask me about my labor story if you would like to hear it, it is quite the story.
Speaking of my husband this Christmas Eve it's going to be 2 years since we first met and have never stopped talking since. So excited for this Christmas :)
God must have known Christmas was the time to bring me even more joy, it's already my favorite time of year, but now my husband and I became as of Christmas time and little Ellie, our daughter, came right before Thanksgiving, right before Christmas :)
2 weeks of being a mom, 3 weeks of not working after always being working or in school. I have been running little errands here and there to catch a break like getting us breakfast, running short errands, etc. I have been cleaning. I don't get too much sleep but I get some!
I have my wonderful husband who's working hard for us, but also when he gets home I catch a break. Take a shower, or catch a nap :)
The Office and tv shows have been my sanity as I'm feeding, changing, bathing, etc. my little Ellie. She has already had her first bath, her umbilical cord stump has fallen off.
She loves our Christmas tree and loves to fixate on the tree and is calm and tranquil as she looks at the Christmas tree, maybe another Christmas loving girl in our house :)
She cries when she is hungry, has a dirty diaper, doesn't like bathing, wants to be cuddled. She does not like cribs or bassinetts too much yet, because she'd rather be cuddled by a human body or her mom or dad :)
She has beautiful eyes, beautiful hair, eyes, nose, long legs, dimpled chin, tiny delicate fingers, tiny precious feet, and a smile that when it comes you just get a burst of joy.
Her name means: Ellie (bright, shining light, or most beautiful woman), Abaigeal bringer of joy, Perez breach or bursting forth.
As you can tell we put a lot of thought into her name and we are so excited to have her in our life <3 She is a beauty, and our precious daughter.
We are new parents and loving it, yes there is a lack of sleep, some irritability, I have my tearful moments which Alvaro cares for oh so gracefully. It has been amazing and a beautiful moment to share with my husband.
The new grandma Nancy has been at the hospital to meet the baby, she has been over to help and she is in love with her nieta, granddaughter. I am so thankful to have her as well, she is a constant support and she is definitely a great baby helper, as me and Alvaro will need to get out every now and then, date night :)
Sleep is getting better, God is good, He has blessings for us in all seasons. My new season is a stay at home mom and wife to my wonderful hardworking husband who takes care of us, God is good :)
Have a great day :)
